Your Routine Doesn't Have to be Perfect 👀
Stop Punishing Yourself and Do This Instead.

Ever wonder why you feel the constant need to be perfect?
And if something hasn’t been done perfectly, then it has no value?
Well, we’re here to put a stop to that mindset today.
Because honestly, the odds of perfect is incredibly slim.
But where did this thinking come from in the first place?
Remember back in school, when you had to get good grades, how your teachers would rave when you got a higher score?
The school wanted to teach us that higher is better, and a perfect 100% is the absolute best.
However, look how this imprint has dictated our lives.
We start a new year resolution, and by Jan 15th, half of us have already given up. And maybe we’ll wait til next year.
But the truth is, prefect is hard, and when it comes to reaching your goals, it really isn’t necessary.

Truth is, we have good day — when we wake up on the right side of the bed, our day goes perfectly as planned, and we go to bed with everything checked off the list.
However you and I both know that isnt always the case.
Because sometimes we wake up on the wrong side of the bed, nothing seems to go right, and by the end of the day not even 1 thing was checked off on the to-do list.
And in those moment, you’ve probably felt like a failure, like you’ve wasted your day, and maybe you might as well give up on the whole idea of reaching that goal.
But it doesn’t have to be that way.
The important thing with attaining any goal, is consistent effort.
And that takes into account the days you physically, mentally, or emotionally can’t do something, or the days when you just don’t want to.
Free yourself from the idea that in order to hit your goal, you have to go at it every single day, no matter the cost.
I used to think that if I didn’t post on my socials everyday, the algorithm would punish me and never show my content to anyone.
And here’s the huge downside of that mentality.
I would literally feel bad if I didn’t figure something out to post.
I would be stressed about posting instead of enjoying the act of posting.
I would feel like I would never hit me goals, because I’m not consistent enough.
But finally, thank Jesus, I realized there was another way…
I realized that I’m most inspired when I’m actually having fun, doing the things I love to do. That’s when I get those direct downloads on meaningful insights to share.
Because it’s about the quality of what I’m sharing, not about the quantity.
When I was oversharing, I would just push something out because I felt like I had to.
But now, I post when I feel divinely inspired to do so.
I talk more freely with you all here, because I truly want you to see that you’re not alone.
That’s why we’re building community.
That’s why we’re sharing what really matters.
That’s why we’re offering encouragement and support along the way
So here’s how to break free from perfection and become better and better.
Start with setting small attainable goals, like journaling or practicing breathwork when you first wake up
Over the course of a week, track when you’ve completed your goal each day (This is only for tracking purposes, not to force you to do it)
By the end of the week, instead of counting how many days you did the task, instead notice how different you feel having completed said take on the days you did.
Repeat this process, and see how you feel after a month, a year, & beyond.
Over time you’ll notice that these routines will become second nature, you don’t have to think about it anymore — it just happens.
This shift in noticing how you feel vs punishing yourself for not doing something, truly allows you to start enjoying the benefits of the new routines and habits you’re implementing in your life.

Building and maintaining the feelings associated with your habits and routines lead to you finally reaching your goals.
So dear Creator,

One goal you want to achieve in the next 6 months.
AND one habit you’ll add into your day to make it happen.
